Most oil & gas companies offer additional training opportunities

Once you are hired, many companies will provide additional training for their specific processes and procedures. They may occur within the company or be offered through an outside party.

Some training, such as health and safety, may need to be reviewed or re-certified annually to ensure you are up-to-date with company and industry regulations. Other training sessions may require travel to company facilities in different parts of the world.

You could also be required to attend conferences or trade shows to stay current on what’s new and happening in the industry.
